We understand that, in rare cases, errors in payment or donations may occur. This Refund Policy outlines the process for handling such situations and ensuring a smooth resolution for our valued donors and supporters.
1. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:
Duplicate payment or transaction error.
Wrong amount entered during donation/payment.
Technical error on the website or payment gateway.
Unauthorized or fraudulent transaction.
Donation made by mistake.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, the donor must submit an email request to aimaktrust@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. The request must include the following details:
Full name of the donor
Email address or phone number used during the transaction
Transaction ID or payment receipt
Reason for the refund request
Mode of payment used
3. Verification and Processing
Once we receive a refund request, we will:
Acknowledge the request via email within 2 working days.
Verify the transaction details and reason for refund.
Contact the donor if additional information is needed.
Initiate a full refund after successful verification.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of verification, and the amount will be returned through the original mode of payment.
4. Additional Steps for Accountability
As part of our trust-building efforts:
All refund requests are documented and reviewed by our internal finance team.
Our Board of Trustees is periodically informed of refund activity for transparency.
We do not deduct any charges unless specified by the payment gateway.
5. Non-Refundable Donations
Please note that in cases where funds have already been allocated to a specific project or used for charitable activities, the donation may not be refundable. However, we are happy to discuss alternatives such as issuing a donation certificate or applying the amount to another ongoing program.
